This digital badge is awarded to PK-12 instructional leaders who completed the Career Ready Together: Purpose & Identity session, hosted by the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) Career Connected Learning Team as part of the Career Connected Learning Initiative. Badge earners have demonstrated competency in designing, championing, and sustaining authentic Career Connected Learning experiences anchored in student purpose and identity. Through the application of the RIASEC Framework and career construction strategies, recipients are equipped to advance Career Readiness and overall Career Development across their school communities. Specifically, earners possess skills in Identity-Driven Self-Reflection to help students align their unique identities with future goals, Skill Articulation to empower students to name and build transferable capabilities, and Student Reflection to facilitate routines that connect classroom experiences directly to real-world opportunities.
