Fellows of the Royal Society of Chemistry will be working in a senior position and have been doing their role for 5 or more years. The Fellow will have demonstrated they hold senior responsibilities, have strategic influence within the workplace and/or sector or have made outstanding contributions to the chemical sciences and/or to the advancement of the profession. The award of Chartered Science Teacher (CSciTeach) status is a peer-reviewed process and is the demonstration of high-quality science teaching. It lies at the heart of inspiring and nurturing the next generation of chemical scientists. CSciTeach recognises those individuals who demonstrate excellence in science teaching and learning. CSciTeach awardees have shown they have developed skills in 3 competency areas: • Professional knowledge and understanding • Professional practice • Professional attributes The Royal Society of Chemistry is the UK's professional body for chemical scientists, maintains standards of competence and professional practice and provides support and representation for its members bringing together chemical scientists from all over the world.
