In partnership with Professor Amanda LeDesma, DBA of SUNY Potsdam, Nathan Dyer, MS, Head of People Operations and Strategic Advancement at Platinum Edge Tutoring, and CapSource, the recipient enrolled in the co-facilitated MGMT507 Policy, Issues and Ethics for Professional Practice course, enabling postgraduate university students during the Spring 2025 term to gain hands-on team-based experience. Recipients of this badge have completed the "Advancing DEI Impact through Policy and Programming" project. Project Overview: Platinum Edge Tutoring's success coaches perform best when they can connect effectively with students. The organization recognizes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as a key driver in fostering meaningful connections and supporting student success. Given recent shifts in how DEI is perceived and implemented, Platinum Edge aims to refine and innovate its DEI-related policies and programs to achieve desired outcomes while navigating an evolving landscape. This project presented an opportunity to explore creative, research-based approaches to DEI policy and programming that enhance engagement, align with organizational goals, and address changing societal and administrative contexts.
