MRI safety responsibilities have evolved significantly over the past two decades, transforming the role of the MR technologist from primarily equipment operator to frontline safety advocate and interdisciplinary collaborator. This presentation explores how advancements in technology, increasing patient complexity, updated safety standards, and growing regulatory expectations have expanded the technologist’s responsibilities in the MRI environment.
