This 2-day course provides a practical introduction to internal auditing based on ISO 15189:2022 for medical laboratories, covering the entire audit cycle from planning and conducting audits to reporting findings and post-audit follow-up. It combines theoretical knowledge of auditing principles and ISO requirements with hands-on activities, case studies, and role play to build competence in audit programme design, effective audit techniques, evidence gathering, and communication. Participants will also learn how to identify and write non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and evaluate corrective actions, equipping them with the essential skills to carry out internal audits confidently and support continuous improvement.
