Description

This workshop develops practical clinical reporting skills with the R package gtsummary, focusing on three common reporting needs: demographics, adverse events, and laboratory summaries. Participants work through submission-style demographics tables using tbl_summary(), then examine adverse event tables organized by system organ class and preferred term. Particular attention is given to subject-level counting and frequency-based sorting. Laboratory examples combine observed values and changes from baseline across visits, using merge-and-stack approaches to create more complex column structures. The session also covers exporting completed tables to RTF, connecting table construction with a usable clinical reporting output.
