Description

The holder of this badge completed the 20-week BRDG Innovation Challenge, collaborating in a multidisciplinary team to develop an innovative, technology-enabled solution to a complex environmental or social challenge. Participants researched stakeholder needs, applied entrepreneurial thinking and emerging technologies, developed and refined a prototype, assessed feasibility and impact, and presented their solution to a professional audience. Through this experience, they demonstrated the ability to manage projects, collaborate across disciplines, communicate effectively, exercise initiative and leadership, work both independently and as part of a team, solve problems, and move ideas into execution, culminating in a final pitch focused on value, feasibility, scalability, and impact. Participants also built meaningful professional connections with coaches, subject matter experts, trainers, and peers, creating networks that can continue beyond the Challenge.
