The holder of this certificate and badge has completed the 3-day online train-the-trainer training in Circularity Thinking. This method focuses on the systemic elements of circular-oriented innovation. Circular strategies - such as reduce, reuse and recycle - are deployed to capture emergent benefits—such as resilience, reduced environmental impact, and new innovation potential—that cannot be traced to a single actor or point in the value chain. Because a linear mindset focused on local optimization is insufficient for capturing these benefits, the course fosters a systemic perspective essential for effective circular innovation. The train-the-trainer format has prepared the participant to co-create and facilitate circular solutions collaboratively within and beyond their organizations using Circularity Thinking. This systems-based approach to creating circular economy solutions, emphasizes how circular innovation differs from traditional innovation by creating feedback loops and system-wide impacts that are not always visible from a ‘local’ perspective. Aimed at pragmatic professionals in or working with business and manufacturing contexts, it equipped the participant to understand and address root causes while also leveraging immediate opportunities.
