The holder of this badge is a finalist for the Arizona Excellence In Government Award. In support of the goal of creating an Arizona for Everyone, the Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) and the Governor's Advisory Council on Aging (GACA) hosted community-embedded listening sessions around the state. These sessions engaged both rural and historically underserved aging adults. By learning about the lived experiences of these community members, GOYFF can help state agencies increase the responsiveness of government services to Arizona's aging adult constituents, positively impacting the outcomes for this incredibly important and fast-growing segment of citizens.
