This badge recognises the recipient’s completion of 22 hours of coaching training and practice as part of the University of Edinburgh Business School’s Edinburgh Award for Professional Development (EAPD). This initiative encourages first and second-year Business students to own their professional development and enhance their global employability. As a Coaching Leader for the EAPD, the recipient has supported their coachees by facilitating group conversations and helping them develop meaningful goals and action plans. Through this, they have developed core coaching skills, a practical understanding of coaching, improved interpersonal skills, learned new communication methods, and effective techniques to maximise coachee potential. The recipient completed 22 hours of voluntary work as part of the EAPD, including 7 hours of coaching training, leading group sessions, monthly check-ins with students, networking, and reviewing journals.
