Participants of the Competence Camp were selected through an open recruitment process for students from Łódź universities. They applied via an online form, describing their motivation to take part and expectations for personal development. Those who were selected joined an intensive two-day residential training combining workshops, group challenges and reflective sessions focused on developing transferable competences such as collaboration, critical thinking, self-management, resilience and communication. Participation itself was treated as a form of distinction – only 20 students per Camp were admitted – and all participants received a certificate confirming the development of key future skills within the 4 Excellence project.
