QC101: Quantum Computing Summer Course is a self-paced introductory program organized by the Quantum Computing Domain at 4i Labs, IIT Guwahati. Designed for students with no prior background in quantum computing, the course covers foundational topics including quantum mechanics, qubits, quantum gates, and quantum circuits, progressing to key quantum algorithms such as the Quantum Fourier Transform and Shor's Algorithm. Participants could choose between an Easy Track, culminating in a hands-on implementation of Shor's Algorithm in Qiskit, or a Hard Track, which extends into quantum machine learning with a project applying Quantum Support Vector Machines to exoplanet classification using NASA's Kepler dataset. The course combines curated IBM Quantum resources, weekly assessments, and applied projects to give participants a strong practical foundation in quantum computing.
