This credential recognizes participation in the AI Algoritmo Academy, a professional development experience hosted by the Center for Teaching Excellence at Our Lady of the Lake University. Grounded in OLLU's mission and opened with a reflection by Dr. Candace de León-Zepeda, the Academy brought faculty and staff together to build practical, ethical fluency with artificial intelligence in higher education. Participants engaged with a keynote from Dr. Juan "JQ" Quintanilla and a series of hands-on masterclasses led by Dr. Jamie Crosswhite, Dr. Steven Linley, and Naphtali Bryant, exploring how AI can be applied thoughtfully to teaching, learning, and institutional work. Earners of this credential completed the Academy and demonstrated engagement with foundational AI concepts and their responsible application in an educational setting.
