This sprint style intensive credential validates training and expertise in inclusive active movement. Earners apply core material to improve inclusion in physical pursuits across diverse populations. Training aimed to raise awareness of diverse bodies, teach techniques for creating effective engagement and questioning around inclusivity for diverse active body participation. Key competencies were developed during an intensive training weekend. Learning modules provided participants with a foundation in cultural responsiveness and informational interviewing, disability adaption, considerations for neurodiverse, and aging, and hands on experience with adaptive dance, inclusive physical education, cultural and religious athletic considerations, chronic illness considerations. The program concluded with a real-world application project where participants developed a funded proposal to enhance inclusion for fictional clients. This demonstrated the ability to apply course material and skill to complex real-world scenarios, effectively engage with external, real-world resources, accurately develop realistic budgets, and execute innovative problem-solving strategies precisely tailored to meet specific client needs.
