This activity is aimed at educating healthcare providers regarding the rationale for vaccines, mechanism of action for vaccines, types of vaccines and how it is developed, mandatory immunization schedule, and common adverse events and how to report them to the Saudi Food & Drug Authority. There will be also a session regarding pharmacists’ Immunization Certification Programs and how to obtain it. In addition, the activity will describe the National strategies for disease prevention.
