Description

Kindred's Becoming Trauma-Informed Training explores how trauma can shape the brain, body, behaviour and relationships, including the impacts of collective trauma on individuals and communities, and what this means for the way we work with people. Through practical frameworks, reflective activities and shared learning, participants explore trauma-informed principles, the Window of Tolerance, trauma responses, the Kindred Adaptation Wheel™ and the impacts of vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and burnout. Follow-up Community of Practice sessions provide opportunities to revisit workshop themes, reflect on real-world experiences and explore how trauma-informed principles can be intentionally integrated into day-to-day practice.
