This course explores how AI can be applied responsibly and effectively to user research. You’ll examine what AI can and can’t do, and how it is influencing the researcher’s role. You’ll learn how to use structured prompts to support research planning, facilitation and analysis, while critically assessing limitations such as bias, synthetic users and ethical risks. The course also introduces a practical framework for evaluating AI research tools.
