The AI Institute is a full-day faculty development program hosted by American University's Center for Faculty Excellence. Grounded in both the theory and practice of teaching in an age of artificial intelligence, the institute spans five sessions addressing AI literacy, curricular adaptation, student engagement strategies, and emerging institutional frameworks at AU and beyond. The day also includes structured roundtable discussion creating space for cross-disciplinary exchange about the role of AI in higher education.
