Description

The Forward Vision (FV) Program provides participants with a structured, competency-based learning experience that equips them with practical skills in social innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaborative problem-solving. Through activities such as learning about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), conducting needs assessments, developing business models, and working in interdisciplinary teams, participants gain valuable knowledge and real-world experience that can be applied in academic, professional, and community settings. Over approximately 100 hours, participants receive mentorship from industry professionals, complete assessed learning activities, and develop and deliver a formal pitch. This process helps build critical competencies including research, communication, teamwork, innovation, and project development. By addressing real community and industry needs, FV creates meaningful learning outcomes that are recognized for employment and further educational opportunities while supporting the development of future-ready leaders and changemakers.
