The Barnahus Network is a member-led organisation that works to harmonise and consolidate good Barnahus practice across Europe, and does so in support of and consultation with a competent and committed Barnahus workforce across Europe and an established peer-to-peer network.

• Members are Barnahus or similar services. They fulfil the Barnahus Quality Standards or aspire to do so. They are committed to take all possible action to (progressively) comply with criteria. Learn More

• Offers multidisciplinary and interagency interventions (Barnahus Quality Standard 5), organised under one roof in a child-friendly setting (Barnahus Quality Standard 4), placing the best interests of the child (UNCRC art 3, Barnahus Quality Standard 1.1) at the centre.

• Offers each child a balanced multidisciplinary, professional and child friendly intervention, managed through joint case management and review.

• Professionals from the following disciplines collaborate to provide a carefully balanced intervention that responds to the needs of each child: criminal justice, child protection, physical health, mental health, multidisciplinary teamwork.
