The HKUST Exchange Buddy (2026/27) badge is issued to HKUST undergraduate students who took on this student leadership role under the HKUST Office of Global Learning Experience in the 2026/27 Academic Year. The badge celebrates these students who championed global connection by supporting incoming exchange students from around the world throughout the 2026/27 Academic Year. Serving as primary peer mentors and cultural navigators, these students played a pivotal role in shaping a memorable study abroad experience. From providing vital pre-arrival guidance to offering hands-on orientation support and organizing vibrant social activities, they dedicated their time to helping exchange students transition seamlessly into HKUST campus life and discover the very best of Hong Kong’s culture.
