Members of the NetVUE Staff Seminar Cohort participated in the NetVUE Staff Seminar: Vocation Across Campus in June 2026. The seminar is designed for staff who direct campus programs or serve in other long-term administrative capacities, but who do not also hold faculty appointments. During the five-day seminar, participants learn more about vocation and its importance for undergraduate students, develop or revise programming or initiatives to support vocational exploration, and cultivate a broader network of colleagues committed to supporting students’ work in this area. Staff receiving this designation completed the NetVUE Staff Seminar: Vocation Across Campus. This seminar included (1) reflection on personal vocational journeys and the ways that shapes work with undergraduate students; (2) exploration of a variety of language and frameworks for vocation; and (3) design of a new or revised program or initiative for students that incorporates vocational exploration and discernment. In preparation for the seminar, participants were expected to read a significant selection of materials on vocation. They also were expected, in the academic year following the seminar, to incorporate vocation into their programming or other work on campus.
