The “Simulação do Parlamento Europeu with GIRI-Hub” is an academic simulation event that allows participants to experience the role of Members of the European Parliament in a realistic decision-making environment. Participants will debate ecological and European Union policy topics, negotiate solutions, defend political positions, and take part in parliamentary voting sessions inspired by real EU institutional procedures. The event is organized in a hybrid format (online and in-person) at Universidade Lusófona – Pavilhão de Investigação U.08, and aims to develop essential academic and professional skills such as communication, diplomacy, leadership, teamwork, negotiation, and critical thinking. All participants will receive an official certificate of participation recognizing their involvement and competencies developed throughout the simulation.
