The holder of this badge has been certified to provide mentorship, coaching and teach K12Logic's four week K12 IT Leader Boot Camp Program. This program is a perfect precursor to CITE's (cite.org) CTO Mentor Program for those that can not participate in the CITE program right away but need foundational training now. The program is a demanding, outcomes-driven mentorship and coaching that focuses on four critical pillars every successful K–12 technology leader must master: strategic vision and governance, cybersecurity and crisis leadership, budgeting and resource management, and team building with personal sustainability. Each week requires active participation in in-depth leadership discussions, and the completion of thoughtful, real-world deliverables designed to reflect the responsibilities of a district-level IT leader. Successful completion includes completing weekly assignments customized to the candidate to help provide them the ability to think beyond day-to-day operations and lead at a strategic, executive level. These deliverables reflect the mindset shift from technician to district technology leader that is essential for long-term success.
