The participant has attended the Six Sigma Green Belt training course at the M+M Lean Six Sigma Akademie and successfully passed the training exam. The training provides a comprehensive understanding of the core elements of Lean Management and Six Sigma, including their respective strengths, weaknesses and potential synergies. Another focus is on the criteria for selecting suitable Lean Six Sigma projects, so that managers can be specifically supported in project definition. Participants learn about the DMAIC process and are able to combine it with elements of lean management in their project work. In addition, the essential tools and instruments for the successful implementation of DMAIC projects are taught and their targeted use is trained. Particular emphasis is placed on the responsible and methodically correct handling of data and the application of relevant statistical procedures. The training content fulfils the requirements of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the guidelines of the ESSC-D and the specifications of 13053-2011. The title ‘Certified Six Sigma Green Belt’ can be awarded by the M+M Lean Six Sigma Academy on the basis of a successfully completed Six Sigma Green Belt project.
