The earner of this badge has completed the 48-hour Shipley Coach Practitioner course, a foundational program that introduces participants to the ICF Core Competencies and equips them with the Shipley CORE™ Coaching Model. This training enables participants to begin recording coaching hours in their ICF coaching log, per ICF guidelines. Badge earners have demonstrated an understanding of coaching ethics, core skills, and practical application, preparing them to confidently begin their coaching journey and apply professional coaching techniques in real-world settings. The course is typically delivered as a 5-day intensive (live or virtual) or spread out over 12 sessions (typically one per week).
