We Help Pilots Bring Everyone Home Safely. Perfected over 25 years, our life-saving Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) system optimally mitigates aviation's #1 fatal threat, Loss of Control In-flight (LOC-I) for all fixed-wing pilots.
Description
The Gold Standard UPRT Mastery Qualification (Flight School Piston Operations) is an elite recognition within the APS Every Pilot In Control UPRT Mastery Program, awarded to pilots who have successfully completed an integrated APS-designed-and-delivered Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) program, combining both on-aircraft training and advanced class-specific simulation. This achievement, granted by Aviation Performance Solutions (APS), represents advanced skills in managing flight dynamics, mitigation of incapacitating human factors to include startle and surprise, improved aeronautical decision making (ADM), expanded threat and error management (TEM), flight path management (FPM), and improved aircraft control. It is a mark of distinction that sets the recipient apart in the flight school industry.
All APS UPRT awards, valid for two (2) years, comply with the Every Pilot In Control Solution Standard (EPIC-S2), the international standard establishing the optimized implementation and delivery features of effective, life-saving UPRT programs.
