This certificate recognizes the successful completion of the PIE Fellows Program, facilitated by the UF/IFAS Center for Public Issues Education in Agriculture and Natural Resources (PIE Center). Fellows participated in an intensive eight‑month hybrid professional development program focused on strengthening science communication and public engagement skills. The program included structured e‑learning modules on problem identification, intervention strategy development, social science research, science communication and outreach, and program evaluation. Each module incorporated applied assignments that culminated in the creation of a communication or educational product informed by public perception survey data. Throughout the program, Fellows collaborated closely with PIE Center faculty to analyze data and refine strategic and creative approaches. The program concluded with a formal presentation in which each Fellow shared their project outcomes and professional growth experience with the PIE Center.
