Participation
Participate in Health Policy Sessions on topics including medicare, medicaid, insurance markets, federal healthcare agencies and more. This includes reading or watching assigned material ahead of each meeting, asking questions of the experts and policy practitioners who will present during these sessions, and engaging in class discussions and exercises.
Participation
Participate in Changemaker Skill Sessions on topics including reading and drafting legislation, writing policy memos, using storytelling for policy reform, advising high-level decision-makers, turning ideas into results, and more. Each of these provides an opportunity for fellows to develop the kinds of skills that are necessary to drive policy change.
Participation
Attend the in-person fly-in weekend featuring engaging speakers, a day-long policy development exercise, and intensive networking and relationship-building among participants.
Participation
Meet with other members of the cohort in virtual coffees throughout the fellowship as assigned by HRA leaders.
