Description

AI Bootcamp: Building with Intelligence is a short, immersive program designed to help college students move beyond using AI as a shortcut and instead learn how to work with AI as a teammate. Over two weeks, students explore how AI can enhance productivity, creativity, and thinking at an individual level, then apply those skills to create value for teams, organizations, and communities. The bootcamp emphasizes experimentation, reflection, and small but meaningful builds rather than technical mastery or coding expertise. What sets this bootcamp apart is its reframing of AI. Rather than treating AI as a tool for faster task completion, students learn to use it as a collaborator—something they can think with, design with, and challenge. The program focuses not just on what AI can do, but on how to work with it intentionally and responsibly. The structure is deliberately solo-first but team-better. All activities can be completed independently, while optional collaboration allows students to compare approaches and learn from peers without the overhead or risk of formal group projects. The bootcamp includes two face-to-face sessions, guided asynchronous work, and a live online seminar. Week 1 focuses on personal exploration—using AI to improve how students work, create, communicate, and make decisions. Week 2 shifts toward designing for others, with students building AI-assisted concepts such as campaigns, product ideas, decision briefs, or social-impact initiatives. Students choose from flexible tracks spanning productivity, creativity, communication, decision-making, design, entrepreneurship, and social impact. Each track includes a clear mission, concrete deliverables, and optional stretch goals. By the end of the bootcamp, students can clearly articulate the difference between AI as a tool and AI as a teammate, write effective prompts across contexts, build and explain an AI-assisted artifact, and develop confidence engaging with a rapidly evolving technology landscape. AI Bootcamp: Building with Intelligence is not about becoming an AI expert. It is about becoming a more capable, reflective, and adaptable human working alongside intelligent systems.
