Learners are expected to progress consistently through this primarily self-guided program and remain actively engaged in the learning process. Weekly class sessions are offered for Q&A, support, and academic guidance as students move through the curriculum.

To earn the MTPAe diploma badge, the learner must successfully complete the full diploma program, including self-guided coursework, module-based progress testing, and all final program testing. Learners must pass proctored theory exams after each module and demonstrate advanced competency in skin and coat function, therapeutic support, formulation awareness, evidence-based care, and ethical professional practice. A final passing standard of 80% or higher is required for successful completion.
