The NC State University Department of Food, Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences awards our Leadership Certificate to an annual cohort of students, selected through an application process. Each recipient commits time to developing leadership competencies and demonstrates applied leadership within our department. This includes attending a year-long seminar series led by industry professionals, as well as required service in a leadership role such as a club officer, departmental ambassador, teaching assistant or related.
