Registered dealers and salespersons who have successfully completed the MVDA Key Elements course have demonstrated their knowledge of: 1. Key statues of the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act (MVDA), the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), and the Code of Ethics 2. Contract requirements 3. Premises and record-keeping 4. Advertising and disclosure requirements Dealers and salespersons that successfully pass the MVDA Key Elements Course are entitled to use the Certified in Automotive Law and Ethics designation (C.A.L.E.). This designation builds trust, strengthens credibility and demonstrates to customers and consumers that dealers and salespeople are professionals who have met the training standards.
