This comprehensive four-part course provided participants with a full understanding of the fundraising and grantwriting process, from foundational concepts to advanced practical application. Throughout the sessions, participants explored transparency in fund allocation, fundraising ethics, and the different types of donors, gaining insight into the complete fundraising cycle through an interactive exercise that involved mapping donors relevant to their own causes. They then learned about the grant lifecycle, GDPR considerations for NGOs, key components of a successful proposal, and common mistakes found in Armenian NGO submissions. The following session focused on proposal architecture and logical framework design, including monitoring and evaluation tools, quality reporting, alignment with donor priorities and national reforms, and the use of storytelling to strengthen fundraising efforts. The final session introduced advanced resource mobilization strategies, as well as AI and digital tools for research, writing, and donor communication. The course concluded with a group project where participants drafted, peer reviewed, and refined proposal sections, applying all the skills and knowledge gained throughout the program.
