Description
The Post Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting (PGDPA) is a core component of the CPA Programme offered by CPA Bangladesh. The CPA Programme is endorsed by ATHE (Awards for Training and Higher Education), UK — an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation under the UK Government, ensuring international recognition and quality assurance.
The PGDPA is designed to develop advanced competencies in financial accounting, cost and management accounting, auditing, financial management, and business analysis, blending theoretical knowledge with practical applications to prepare learners for supervisory and managerial roles in accounting, finance, and auditing. The curriculum also places strong emphasis on professional ethics, regulatory compliance, analytical thinking, and global best practices.
The PGDPA qualification serves as a gateway for graduates to attain professional recognition as qualified accountants and secure direct membership with two esteemed IFAC Member Bodies — the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA), UK and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Australia. Upon successful completion of the programme, learners are awarded a Certificate of Completion by the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA), UK. The PGDPA is delivered over one year through a flexible, self-paced e-learning platform.
