The five-month programme combines coaching theory, extensive practical training, supervised sessions, mentoring, feedback and personal development. The programme prepares graduates to practise coaching professionally or to integrate coaching skills into leadership, management, entrepreneurship, education, human resources and other people-focused roles. Successful graduates receive dual certification within the Romanian professional qualification framework and from the Romanian Coaching Institute. Graduates of the Better Me – Better You Coaching Programme develop an integrated set of coaching, relational, emotional and systemic skills that enable them to create safe, reflective and action-oriented coaching processes. Their practice is grounded in presence, deep listening, ethical responsibility, client autonomy and the ability to facilitate sustainable personal and professional change.

Test

Practical Coaching Examination: Successfully conduct a 60-minute professional coaching session that demonstrates the ability to establish a clear coaching agreement, build a safe and trust-based relationship, apply appropriate coaching skills and tools, facilitate client awareness and support meaningful progress towards the client’s objectives.

Assignment

Client Case Study: Submit a written case study based on a coaching session conducted with a real client. The case study must demonstrate the ability to analyse the coaching process, identify the client’s objectives, describe the interventions and tools used, evaluate the client’s progress and reflect on the effectiveness of the session.

Participation

Peer Coaching Observation: Participate as an observer in peer coaching sessions and provide structured, constructive feedback based on the professional coaching criteria taught within the Romanian Coaching Institute training programme.

Assignment

Coaching Session Self-Evaluation: Complete and submit a structured self-evaluation form based on one of your own coaching sessions. The self-evaluation must demonstrate the ability to reflect critically on the coaching process, assess the effectiveness of the skills and interventions used, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and define clear professional development actions for future practice.

Professional Reading and Book Review: Read a professional coaching book included in the recommended bibliography and submit a written review that demonstrates understanding, critical reflection and the ability to connect the key concepts with professional coaching practice.
