The webinar was conducted by Sanchayan Sarkar (IASC Regional Volunteer (India), SciStarter Champion, Kilonova Hunter, and Astronomy Enthusiast), who shared practical examples of citizen science in action, explain how beginners can get involved, and discuss tools and platforms that enable participation from home. Participants learnt about observing space objects, engaging with real-time astrophysical data, and contributing meaningfully to ongoing research projects—without requiring prior academic or research experience. The session concluded with a live question-and-answer segment.
