Description

AI Agents and the Law: A Research Outlook (Module 2) is a four-week advanced course that builds on the foundations of Module 1. Designed for aspiring legal and technical policy researchers, it guides participants through focused research streams at the intersection of AI and law, culminating in the development of individual research proposals.

The module explored four key research streams: liability, law-following AI, AI agent infrastructure, and policy options for AI agent governance. The course featured leading experts: Ketan Ramakrishnan, Cullen O’Keefe, Alan Chan, Noam Kolt, and Iskandar Haykel - alongside workshops on legal reasoning and research development. By engaging directly with experts at the frontier of AI and law through lectures and Q&A, participants gained a rare opportunity to explore emerging debates and shape their own research agendas.
