The Responsible AI Professional (RAP) certification by BC + AI Ecosystem Association recognizes practitioners who can lead responsible AI in their organizations. Across a four-week program, recipients learned to apply global governance frameworks (UNESCO, OECD, NIST, IEEE, EU AI Act), assess algorithmic bias and fairness trade-offs, navigate data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), evaluate AI deployment readiness, and account for AI's societal and environmental impact. Graduates complete hands-on artifacts and an AI inventory, ethics assessment, deployment report, and governance document applied to real systems in their own work.
