Managing distressed students

For CPD purposes, this course is a half-day (3.5-hour) online course, involving discussion and live participation. This practical course ensures participants feel confident about how to engage with a student’s distress, while maintaining appropriate boundaries and looking after their own wellbeing in these interactions. The course also focuses on how to respond to a student presenting a high level of risk - for example, a student who mentions suicide.
