The National Space Mentoring Program is a joint initiative between the Australian Youth Aerospace Association (AYAA) Astra Program and the Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA), with the goal of bringing together early career mentees and experienced mentors within Australia's space industry to build skills, connections, and clearer career pathways. This pilot program, running between November 2025 and February 2026, consisted of four lightly structured 60-to-90 minute sessions, run with 30 small groups of one mentor paired with 1-3 mentees, guiding mentees on goal setting, industry awareness, professional branding and career development. This badge recognises the self-reflection, learning, and commitment to personal growth of the mentees in the program.
