Description

Stay Interviews are discussions between a leader and team member to gather information about engagement and retention. It is not "coaching” but focuses on the team member's thoughts and needs. A Stay Interview discusses the individual employee and gathers information that a people leader can use today to help solve everyday problems for staff members and retain their best talent. This session will provide an overview of this retention tool that will highlight why Stay Interviews, what a Stay Interview is, and how one delivers a Stay Interview. Participants will also be able to observe a mock Stay Interview with time for questions and comments about the experience. Participants will leave the session with the knowledge needed to immediately implement Stay Interviews on their campuses and within their teams.
