Speechcraft is Toastmasters’ education program for non-members. It is a condensed version of the club experience, aimed at teaching public speaking basics. You don’t have to belong to Toastmasters to take part. Chuckle n’ Chirp Toastmasters club (CnC) has developed an offline condensed Speechcraft Bootcamp for Corporates seeking to acquire the same skills over 3 full day sessions (given some Corporates do not have the capacity to commit to the 8-week sessions). An experienced CnC Toastmasters member acts as the Speechcraft coordinator. They recruit participants with the Corporate, called Speechcrafters, and the 3-day Bootcamp event using materials from Toastmasters. Over the 3 days, the Speechcrafters build their confidence, communication, public speaking and leadership skills in a supportive Toastmasters environment. They deliver speeches and receive feedback along the way. Speechcrafters earn a CnC Toastmasters Club badge for the speeches they deliver and a certificate when they finish. If they later join the CnC Toastmasters club, the speech badges count as credit in Pathways, the official Toastmasters education program.
