The holder of this badge attended Springboard Clinic's 2 hour workshop on Supporting Campers with ADHD. This workshop supports camp counsellors and staff in learning how to: - Establish warm camper-counsellor relationships; - Build team confidence in managing challenging behaviours and situations; - Create a welcoming environment that works for both neurodiverse and neurotypical kids; - Better manage parent expectations and concerns; - Identify and use strategies and tools to resolve conflict in the moment; - Better predict and avoid camper meltdowns while managing transitions; - Improve social connection among campers within the group and increase engagement in camp activities; - Upskill with EDI standards in mind. The certification of participation acknowledges the participant's workshop attendance. It is not a professional qualification or endorsement of the participant’s skills or competence in handling ADHD-related issues.
