GeneLab for High Schools summer training program introduces students to NASA’s Space Biology research using the Open Science Data Repository. Students learn standardized transcriptomics (gene expression) analysis pipelines using lecture videos and interactive Python notebooks hosted online. The course is provided by NASA Ames Research Center on an asynchronous virtual learning platform. Student time commitment: 20 – 40 hours.
