Description
This course is designed to prepare K-12 teachers to confidently engage students in using generative AI as a tool and resource to support student learning. This course is designed to give teachers a place to explore how AI is being integrated into k-12 classrooms, to experience using AI to complete an academic writing assignment, and to critically reflect on AI-integration issues. Throughout the course, participants will develop AI-enhanced learning tasks to develop critical thinking in their subject area. In the case that students are not permitted to access AI tools in the classroom, the resources that participants create can support talking points in future conversations on new pedagogies that are possible with AI.
