This workshop explores narcissistic personality through a psychodynamic, relational lens—moving beyond surface-level traits and DSM categories to understand the underlying structural deficits and chronic emptiness that drive narcissistic dynamics. Participants will examine who pairs with narcissistic personalities, how the “relational dance” unfolds, and the emotional impact on partners. The training also addresses countertransference reactions in clinicians and reviews contemporary, evidence-informed treatment approaches for both narcissistic patients and those affected by them. Designed for clinicians and advanced trainees, this workshop integrates theory, research, and practical application for clinical practice.
