This 1 hour CPD session was designed to assist architects in developing their skills using the IES VE and iCD software. The session covered early design stage - specific to architectural design - modelling examples typically prepared at RIBA Stage 2, effects of daylighting and sunlighting, developing massing options, internal layout, glazing options and systems at RIBA Stage 3. It also looked at occupant overheating, building level energy consumption, life cycle assessments, EPC's and internal daylighting.
