A certified Black Belt can lead any project team across the organization in executing process improvement projects. Team projects may involve production, transactional, or corporate-center processes. Black Belts may also conduct Lean Six Sigma training and act as coaches and mentors to other Belts-in-training. Certification requires completion of MoreSteam's online Black Belt course (approx. 140 hours), passing a comprehensive exam, and leading two Black Belt-level projects from inception through implementation.
