BIOS Council is a representative group of orthoptists that provides professional leadership, advice and insight to the British and Irish Orthoptic Society (BIOS). Council members bring their experience and perspectives from across the profession to help shape BIOS priorities, support the development of the profession and ensure the views and needs of orthoptists are reflected in the Society’s work. Council works closely with the Board of Trustees and BIOS staff, providing professional expertise, challenge and guidance on matters affecting orthoptists and the wider profession.
